I took two weeks away from muay thai after my latest tattoo.
Being covered in sweat, shirt rubbing and possibly dropping skin everywhere (if you flake up when healing) isn’t ideal for a tattoo or for your training partners.

Take at least a week, unless you are training for competition in the near future.
A week won’t hurt your training.

Just finished 2 hours of shading and highlights, next session will be colour then working on the inner bicep to transform the piece to a half sleeve.

That’s very true I guess – I have just always liked a longer session, I think it’s because I’m impatient and want the finished artwork quicker 😉

I work in IT in the oil and gas industry.
Been in the IT field for the last 15 years :S

Sometimes I wish I had gone to a different field such as the fitness industry or to psychology.

I have fairly large lettering on the inside of my bicep and the only section that was a little annoying was up close to my armpit.
It wasn’t really that painful (but so far I haven’t thought any of my tats that bad), it does come down to the individual though.
