You guys are proving my point. There are tons of people with tattoos who don’t drink at all. But you aren’t likely to find them out at a bar on a Saturday night. This is just one of the many flaws of this study. It makes me angry that so many people are taking it seriously and reinforcing another stereotype.

I completed your survey, but since I am the only one in my family with a tattoo, there wasn’t much to answer. I’m kind of curious why the questions about age and regret were directed only at family members and not the person taking the survey.

People are already concerned about normal tattoos and MRI machines. How is this ever going to work?

Thanks guys. I thought this thread was long dead and forgotten.
I’m still loving my tat as much as the day I got it and plan on adding to it soon. I spoke with my artist recently and we may add an underwater koi to the inside of my arm.

Take a look at my gallery. I have a dragon that goes over my shoulder and onto my back. The style could easily be adapted to flow down your arm instead of onto your back.
Placement is a very personal thing. I wouldn’t change a thing about the position of my tattoo, but it depends on the look you are going for.

I’m finally finished for now, but I will definitely be adding to this piece in the future.
There was some time left at the end of the session and I had him add some detail on the Koi, under the water.

I know it’s too late now, but I have to ask this question. Was there a stencil made, or was this piece sketched with a marker on your skin before the actual tattoo process started? If so, a lot of these issues could have been avoided by voicing your concern much earlier in the process. Even the simplest of tattoos should be drawn first. You…[Read more]

Thanks guys! The color session on the dragon was about 4 1/2 hours.
I’m starting to peel, but wanted to get a better picture of the face. I can’t believe I have to wait over a month to get it completely finished.
