I went for my first tattoo about a week ago and I gave him a heavy tip. The reason is that my artist has a very good reputation, is one of the only guys around that speaks french like me, and I get along with him. So by giving him a tip, I am thanking him for not only a great tattoo, but an awsome tattoo experience. I also feel that doing this makes him happy, and will make him want to work as well on my second piece, and third, and fourth….because I intend on getting many.
I dunno, imo, if someone just created art on you, that will last for ever, why not give a tip?

Why don’t you just take the idea of what you want to an artist and have him/her draw it up instead of simply copying what another person already has?

I dont mind her, and I do think she is hawt.
As far as this talk around the internet that she might not be the most deserving person to get all the credit, I think that it is great first of all that tattoo artist are getting recognised as artists in the more mainstream media.
Yes Kat might not be the best out there, but she is pretty damn good, and she is bringing new attention to the art that was not there before in the more mainstream culture. For that, I have to give her props.
