I’ve seen (much) worse. Hell, I HAVE much worse! It’s not all that bad and certainly should wait at least a month before touchups. Was your father perfect? I’d let the imperfections in the tattoo represent his.

You really should proof-read your page if you expect people to invest. Honestly, the app may seem cool and teeny boppers will love seeing how their feathers turning into birds tattoo will look if they get it, but a tattoo is only as good as the artist that does it, and the artist is the best judge of proper placement and fit. If that artist isn’t…[Read more]

I seem to remember that white ink does not laser very well, although I doubt much has been worked on yet. Do research and make sure first! You don’t want to replace this with a scar. I’m seconding the sentiments that you go ahead and have it redone in color. Unless of course you want it to look like permanent henna, which is cool. At work, they…[Read more]

Time heals. I have one on my forearm that I really don’t like the execution of, but it has not put me off of more tattoos. As time passes, I really see it more and more as part of me. It is way too dark, but maybe I have some very dark areas to my personality. I would like to suggest that you get a good web cam and look at yourself as others will…[Read more]

I’d suggest it go upper torso, chest, or arms. They seem to be the easiest healing. My submarine dolphins and patrol pin on my chest healed real easy @ 62, but I have no sugar problems. Also suggest you watch your diet very closely around tattoo and healing time.

Do you like it? With something so personal, it doesn’t really matter what the critics think, does it?

Good luck! I think this is promoted by the same folks that do the Knoxville convention. I went to the Knoxville convention last year on Friday night – it was a blast! I imagine Saturday afternoon crowds, late Saturday, and Sunday the folks can be a bit worn and edgy, but everyone was having fun on Friday evening! People enjoying their passion.

I pass out under extreme pain. I’ve done so three times. That said, the three tattoos I have so far have only been mild aggravation. Hydrate, go in rested and in a good frame of mind with a full belly (but, not overly so!) Trust the artist and enjoy the experience. Front of the thigh should be very easy to handle.

If you mean on your sternum, Yes – it will hurt. If you mean to one side below your collar bone – my first was about 2″ below mu collar bone on the left side and it did not really hurt, just mild aggravation.

And, what if a cop reads your Craigslist ad, and pretends to pretend to be your parent, then busts you for fraud and several other nice crimes? Was I that dumb at that age? Or ever?

I’d give about anything for my dad to see mine and complain. Love him and be a good son. He will grow to accept it as part of you. (And, don’t rub his nose in it – wear shirts most of the time around him.)
