Thanks starvega. I actually got a bunch of good results from googling some of those terms. Still looking for artists, but at least I have some idea of what it is referred to.

bellybuttontattoo had a lot of pictures that I found previously and liked and had no idea where they came from.
I’m still bummed the US has yet to catch on. One would think that at least a couple artists in NY or Cali would have some kind of international inspiration. There’s obviously a market for this kinda thing…

Anyone know of any magazines that spotlight this style? Or am I just shit out of luck all over the place?!
