I can see where you are coming from, it does resemble the last dodo symbol. But on further examination, doesnt it resemble the ancient Tibetan symbol for loves to be tea bagged. Just my opinion, I may be wrong.

Yea for sure those areas that you shopped. I don’t know if its the angle of the photo but your stars look a little off as well. As far as what to cover ot with its up to you. Do some homework and check out different styles on the net. You’ll find something, just take your time picking something so you won’t have regrets.

You should get it lasered first then get the cover. That way it won’t be peaking from under your new ink. A few treatments should lighten it up enough. It’s not that bad, I’ve seen a lot worse. Another thing don’t go back to your friend to get your rework, find a pro. Good luck.

That would be an easy cover job. It would have to be bigger than the original design though. So it will go up the leg higher. Your best bet is to go to a shop and talk to a tattooer. Good luck.

Your best bet is to take your idea to a tattooist. Even if you went into a shop with some reference material he or she would rework it to make it there own. You might be wasting your time trying to get someone on here to design one for you. Good luck and good idea for some ink. Is it your sons name?
