Jag har lรคst svenska fรถr 8 รฅr nu, but as I’m Finnish I _still_ can’t speak or write it properly… and as a matter of fact I couldn’t even be less bothered about it. No-one here speaks swedish except for those guys in ร land and whatnot.

Some new stuff.
“Liskojen Yรถ” The exact translation would be “Night of the lizards” but really it means Delirium Tremensis “the shakes”.
Comments welcome.

Oh well, it ain’t that bad. A lot of my friends have said that it can be quite rewarding if you go there in the right mood ie. not taking stuff too seriously ๐

Thanks! I’m really, really happy with this. Every time I look at it I’m like… DAMN this is goood ๐
The healing process has begun quite nicely. Old skin has started to flake off and a bit of scabs have appeared, but the artist told that it’s normal and shouldn’t effect the tat unless I scratch or rub it.
After this is completely healed I’ll go…[Read more] -

Your tattoo looks great, it’s very original. Is your goal to become a tattooist in the future? Thanks! did you design it or your artist ?The artist drew it basing on a few drawings of mine and this image: http://www.grim-fandango.com/image.php?image=/concept/concept3.jpg , but I told him that he could modify them at will. And so he did, and I’m very happy that he did ๐

Sherav: Yeah the eyes and the hat need some work also.
As my first tattoo I’m getting an old-school titanic-like steamboat with an aztec figurehead and faces on the funnel pipes(chimneys? funnels? whatever…) on the back of my forearm. Takes about five hours to finish and it costs like hell, but it’ll definetly be worth it as the sketch drawn by…[Read more] -

Thank you for the feedback :)!
My friend turns 18 next saturday so I decided to do a birthday card for him.
The text says: “Happy Birthday Lauri!” in finnish.I somehow managed to f*ck up the contrast in this one, but I’m quite happy with how it turned out.
The paper I’m using is still some low grade watercolour paper, so it began to “wear” as…[Read more] -

Some more flash practice, made this few weeks ago.
This one is actually done on some low quality watercolor paper. I think the colors are better on this one but more practice is needed. Butterfly_Kisses: Yeah it’s a jellyfish. ๐
JamesRussom: I’ve done them at class on my sketchbook. I think it’s basically only a bit thicker than the average copying paper, definetly not proper watercolor paper which I know I should use… but it’s just so damn expensive :D. I like old school-ish tattoos, 19th century prints, skeletons and such.
I’ve been sketching a black and white tattoo of a 19th century anatomy book -style skeleton with a funny hat dancing on top of a medieval town in flames. I’m not really sure yet what I’ll get inked on myself, but I’m pretty sure it involves…[Read more]
