Personally, I believe your best bet is a consultation with an artist of good quality.
Cross tattoos are one of those things that fall under my personal “do not get” list, but as for the mountains I have to agree with BertNaked seems like a good background, but not a lone piece unless we’re talking about Mount Rushmore.
A good artist can help you LOADS.

I like the design concept, on my person the background is questionable, but as I see it here I believe it will work out fine. Line work looks quite clean. Nice overall!!

I only have the outside and inside thigh work, but i completely agree with the statement comparing it to a burning, rather than an unbearable pain. The inner one tends to make you grit your teeth a bit as they get closer to the inside, and when they get around the back of a knee for sure. Over-all i expect far worse pain on future pieces.

Yeah its the heavy black parts that have now scabbed. Hard to walk lol
Since its a good area of inner thigh that is scabbed.
Pox, I was wondering how the bits that appeared to “crack” would fair.
Covering has never caused problems for you guys? Ill have to try next time.
