I’m not sure, but I can say its going to make for a great piece of art.
With encorporating all of that, I’d suggest doing more than one tattoo. I’d be tempted to jump into the whole sleeve with one shot. that way, you know it’ll have a nice flow, and accomplish what you’re after. Just make sure you’re committed!

Lol, yeah true……you know what I meant though.
Shop around for laser clinics. Its getting more and more common that spas, etc… are offering treatment.
Prices are dropping because the demand is there, and so is the competition. Just make sure they know what theyre doing!
Looks great bud. But I think its spelled Japanese!
excellent work man.
Like other said, keep it up. Its better than a lot of pros work in my opinion.
Here is the Tattoo. I’m going to post in in the Ink section as well. Its really hard to photograph this tattoo. My wife and I have a few each, and its well balanced and really crisp. the camera makes it look blurry and off balance.
Anyway, the Kanji means….or is supposed to mean “success” at the bottom. Its been there for a few years, and the Koi was just recently done as a cover up. If anyone can help with the Kanji, that would be more than appreciated, otherwise its coming off!
I didn’t really intend on having the rising sun theme as prominent as it is, and knowing that the rising sun with the rays is actually WWII Japanese military, I’m still slightly concerned of offending someone. this is a cover up of a tattoo I had years ago. I love the design, I’d just love to hear from a Japanese member.

Hey bud, not bad at all. Tattoo looks well done.
P.s., the 300 has a lot of heritage, dating back to the 60’s! Nice car BTW.
Its all about finding a passion in this life. Keep at it. Congrats on the new tattoo.
Thanks guys, you’re completely right.
I’m too self consious some days. My wife loves it….what more could I ask for.
I’m going to get her to take another shot, now that its healed and not as greasy.
Not bad man. I actually dig the shading. Its got a smooth look to it, and keeps the main tattoos sharp and prominent.
Thats great, thanks guys. I feel better. I’ve always been slightly more concerned about what others think of me than I should be.
I appreciate it
Hey, thanks a lot.
Thats a down to earth answer. I appreciate it, its good food for thought.

Thanks again. I tried looking through your posts, but couldnt find any of you!
Hey, thanks a lot for the reply.
Does he still check your skin in the tattoo’d areas? I’m guessing if anything were to occur, it’d be dark enough to be spotted through the darkest ink, or would raise or flake.
I think I’ll have him dodge the freckles I do have on my shoulders, and keep an eye on them, like I would any other area of my body.

Thanks for the reply. thats some amazing work on your arm. Really nice and crisp. It’ll be black and grey, like all of my stuff.
I’m going to be removing whats currently there, and another on my other arm, then starting fresh. It might be next year by the time I get to it, but It’ll be a calculated process.
