replied to the topic Will my tattoo completely dissapear??? in the forum Tattoo Removal Discussion 15 years, 12 months ago
You will find it tough to get rid of thick areas of dark colour, detail you can pretty much make vanish but never expect complete removal, age, ink and how well it was put in will all contribute to the outcome. Remember it can continue to fade for over a year after treatment. I’ve had loads of treatment over the years and only ever got far enough…[Read more]

Bandit…….
Well although I can understand the frustration you feel when you chased around for so many years kissing ass to get started and learn something, when some of us had the initiative to make things happen a little faster in our lives, I for sure do not feel this makes anyone a better artist than the other. Confidence usually comes from…[Read more] -

no wonder it hurt if he can put that amount of work on you in 1 hour, he may be ripping you open at that speed, although yes you may have found a genius who can run consistantly at high speed. Maybe full day was an exageration but I’d still leave room for 3-4 hours.
good luck, will look awesome.

Wow, I bet the artist was lightly pissed with ya for booking what looks like the majority of a day with him, lol. Very sexy tatt though if you can get through it 1 hour at a time it would be good.

replied to the topic Can I get something covered up??? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 15 years, 12 months ago
If you place your new work correctly you will beable to incorporate the tattoo within the waves in the trad black and blue. I wouldn’t attempt a full cover up with it, being as it is quite basic with obviously very little detail which will make a cover much toucher to work. Laser will be the way forward if you want complete renewal but from my…[Read more]

replied to the topic back piece price? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 15 years, 12 months ago
just get the outline and basic markup first, then carry on as you can afford it, bits n pieces here and there. Doing it like this always will end up costing you more, but makes for the equivilent of an easy pay plan. Full day sessions work out cheaper if you can afford larger payments. As for price, depends, anything from £300 to £3000, the work i…[Read more]

replied to the topic My first tattoo!! Advice needed on color in the forum Inked Skin 16 years, 4 months ago
I like that alot, I agree with orange on the koi and maybe running into a darker orange/red on the dragons head, I’d definately put some blue, in the water and leave that wind/air bar across the middle open to break it up a bit. Persoanlly I think it will look better with hits of clour rather than full on saturation/block colouring.
Nice one, let…[Read more]

replied to the topic Is it better to get a tattoo when you are big or when you're small? in the forum Tattoo Questions and Experiences 16 years, 4 months ago
How much bigger are you expecting to get? I think you would have to be about double the size you are now for it to make any difference what so ever, if any. Skin stretches in a very regulated way and will grow with you so you won’t actually stretch the form of the tattoo out of shape if you do go huge. It isn’t like the rapid growth of a prenant…[Read more]

replied to the topic How clean is your artists machine? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 16 years, 4 months ago
I agree, in the typical tattoo environment which is typically open, busy and lots of people passing you can only be so clean. I think it is a hypocritical thing for a tattoo artist to claim he is untimately clean when infact they aren’t, and it is nigh on impossible to be unless we all started wearing white coats and face masks and standing in a…[Read more]

Thats my point, you can be sure about 10% of people who have been in the studio before you have some form of infection or whatever to pass on, hep c and other things so this new bag thing might be a good idea.
I’ve also heard lately of a new kind of machine that runs from a compressor, although it is noisey apparently you can autoclav the machine. -

yeh, but hair grows back!!!!!!!!!!
No nothing seriously bad about this piece, but people want opinions and we are here to give them. Tattooing is in such a crazy plece these days talentwise, it takes something really special to get excited about, the old stencil lining and a bit of colour doesn’t cut it these days.

replied to the topic Input on replicating a tropical painting in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 16 years, 4 months ago
Cost depends where you are and how quick at that style the artist is, that is impossible to say. As for time, same applies.
You will not find something like this out on the internet, you need to visit some artists in your area, checkout the look on his face when you produce the piece you want, you will read alot from his enthusiasm, or…[Read more] -

More to my point, do you know how your artist cleans the actual machine. From my understanding this is the most difficult, yet probably quite conaminable (is that a word?) part of the whole process/machinery. Yes the tips, grips and tubes go in the autoclav, but what about the actual machine itself (the set and coils), surely that can’t be…[Read more]

Sorry mate, I looked yesterday and decided not to comment due to my feelings of the work. When it comes to something that is on someones arm for life it is better (I feel) to say nothing if you find the work pretty poor. I can understand the concept and have seen other work along the same lines and feel this isn’t very good. Maybe with a bit of…[Read more]

replied to the topic After 3 laser treatments, my black tattoo has hardly faded. in the forum Tattoo Removal Discussion 16 years, 4 months ago
Keep it in mind that the treatment will keep fading long after the treatment. I’ve had quite a bit of laser treatment and it kept fading into about 9months after treatment. One other thing, if you have had 3 treatments in 6 months, that will not be very good for your skin recovery. Leaving 3 months between treatment at least is advised to get an…[Read more]
