Alot of artists are avoiding them. Apparently the ink actually doesn’t settle and has tendancy to move around under the skin, other talk about it being related to some form of skin cancer is out there also. I’m avoiding it at least for another 10 years or so until we get some good first hand feedback and long term results.

Painwise, like a tattoo alot depends on the operator, theirs a lot of various settings to play with on the laser, I suspect many havent got a clue when it comes to what is appropriate.

I’d also try to build up a bit of a friendship with the artist you are going to approach, don’t hound the guy but make him aware you exist. All artists have clingons snapping at the ankles for the same thing, hanging around the shop and being annoying. Don’t get me wrong, it’s beautiful but to me lacks life at the moment, skin rolls above the eyes would bring it to life or darker skin wraps would bring it to life much much more IMO. I’m sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick. Lovely as is but leaving like that I presume you are getting other entities surrounding.

Buy some blank T’s and a few bottles of Colu paint, much better quality and much more original.
