replied to the topic Can I use a numbing ointment before i get my tattoo? in the forum Tattoo Aftercare 16 years, 10 months ago
Yes, everyone is right Pain is part of the tattoo, that way it means much more in the end, a right of passage of sorts. You can use numbing agents, BUT it makes the skin very rubbery for the artist and the pigment cannot stick as well. Most of the stuff on the market will push the ink out of the skin, and we all know what that will do, nothing but…[Read more]

Yes your right if the material worn in your piercings are that of the pigment you can get a pretty good idea. Red is the color to watch out for, and your reserch has obviously paid off, maybe the others could sense that, I don’t know. It’s not sad, I’ve been busy, SORRY! If you have sensative skin, or are concerned about the alergic reaction than…[Read more]

replied to the topic Do you tip Tattooists? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 16 years, 10 months ago
You don’t have to tip the artist, T’s right it would be appreciated, but it is not necessary to do so. The price is usually the full payment that the owner of the shop and the artist are happy with. Good Luck!

I would have to say around $375.00 USD, so whatever that translates as in your country. Maybe more, or a little less. I say that’s a good place to start……Good Luck….

The best thing to do with stretch marks and scars is to find an artist who can incorperate them into the tattoo, maybe incorperating them to get better with stretch, or vise versa.

It may be infected, your feet have the perfect conditions for infection and are breeding grounds for all kinds of infecting bacteria. You cannot expose the tattoo to anymore of that. You must wash it completely many times a day, put small amounts of anti-biotic ointment on it and pat it dry with some unused paper towel and let it breath as much as…[Read more]

;)It’s all crap……:p
just kidding:D, I only threw that in because you left it open by asking not to post bad replies. I think it looks awesome. I’m very much into japanese style, water and structure. All my family originally comes from Louisianna, in the swamp country. So I’m partial to this kind of work. Great piece!

Your artist went too fast, didn’t stretch enough/didn’t get enough needle penatration, or used shit quality inks. You’ll need it gone over again I’m sure. Good Luck….

Derek the only way to tell for sure is to wait until it is healed completely. Either way don’t sweat it, you can’t do anything about it this minute. As long as you don’t have redness, irritation, or any unwanted oozing of any kind you’ll be okay.
Some black ink turns blue when under the skin,(the whole thing would look blue), but if it is only…[Read more]

Yeah, they edit the sh*t out of the tv show. Usually any amazing work, like magazines, tv shows, or just beautiful custom work in general takes a few sittings. If not you colors get saturated with eachother and become muddled. $150.00 an hour is a good price for custom work, if your guy/girl is good. Usually it’s between $100.00 and $250.00 an…[Read more]
