i think this is a kool idea for a tattoo, what is the number as i couldnt see it on the pic, if it a number with a cirlce or loop in it like 9 or 8 you could do the rope as if tied to he number holding it up, or maybe do the rope a bit smaller and incorperate a anchor in it signifying you are anchored down to your family.

i think all great artists could replicate this design, you would have to go to the studio though as it would have to be freehanded onto the skin rather than stenciled to make it flow with the body, if i was you id find and artist and ask them about it, they should be more than happy to do it for it, in my experience artist love to free hand and add the own take on the piece of art.

i think you could do a cross but i dont think this it would be a solid design it wouldnt look even, what you could do is add to the design i think if you tried you could make it into some sort of butterfly, on another hand you could add to the design with more of the same style.
