Thank you. I am excited to see what it’s like when it’s healed.
Thanks! For both tattoos, I was so excited and happy they were done. Then I had this post-tattoo letdown feeling, like, what have I done; this’ll never come off! Then a day later I’m fine again, happy with the permanent addition to my body.
Got the first on on July 9th, so this one was about a month later. It’s really not going to be a monthly thing, promise.
I’m looking at the pictures I have of them, trying to picture the light source. It looks good to me, but I’ll admit I’m not an artist and it’s hard for me to picture those types of things! The 3D was actually bigger than I was imagining it would be, but I’m happy with it overall.
The bruise is like slightly discolored, raised skin about 1/2 an inch to almost an inch around the entire tattoo. It’s not as bad as it was yesterday.
Here is a pic from today. It’s bruising around the edges and feels pretty bad when I’m up walking around!
It doesn’t appear to have 2 heads when I look at it; the shadow seems pretty realistic from my angle.
Those verses in Joel are great.. If I were to get a verse reference, and I might, it would be Heb. 9:12. Once for all, redemption. I love that theme.
Decided on the side of of my right thigh, and appointment is scheduled for next week!
What is the meaning behind the verse for you, if you don’t mind me asking? I assume you mean Joel 2:25-26 because the other chapters don’t have verses 25 and 26.
My husband just linked me with some upper thigh images, and I guess it’s not something I’d rule out.
Nah, looking it up on search and finding that losing 10 pounds won’t be a big deal.
Thinking more about it now … maybe I should make a new thread, but wondering about the working out/weight loss question. Anyone want to chime in? I can upload a pic shortly.
Well, the two butterflies aren’t going to be visually crammed, but it represents me and my husband (our marriage), colors (the kids), butterflies/rainbow (song lyric). Maybe that’s not so bad. OR I could get a bunch of butterflies going from my hip to my rib cage. Why not? My husband would love it! I think I need to work out/tone up before doing that.
Thanks, msmercury! I have the idea for my 2nd pretty set, just wanting to make sure it goes on the right spot! I almost feel like the next one has too much meaning crammed into it!
