This guy looks really good too. Has him listed as Long Island. I don’t know why the link says Albany. Lark Tattoo – Albany, NY – Long Island, NY

Don’t worry about how much other people dislike them. If those are the worst mistakes you’ve ever made, you’re in good shape. If you don’t like them, just get them removed and start thinking about your next design. My personal rule of thumb is not to go with something I haven’t liked for at least a year. I wanted my chest piece for 5 years before I got it and I wanted my arm tattoo for about the same. My only regret so far is not getting my arm done by a better artist. Still no tattoo regret yet after over 9 years. I’m sure you’re more apprehensive about what you’re going to put on your body now and like others have said, there’s no point in beating yourself up over it. We’ve all seen far worse 😛

Good choice should be just fine

Are you familiar with him or his work? I don’t know too much about tattooists

Thanks for the replies everyone. Again, I hide my tattoos. I get them for me and me alone. I don’t like showing them off or getting questions about them. I agree, it would make a great back piece, but if they’re on my back then I can’t see them and to me, that defeats the whole purpose of getting them.

I spoke to someone Thursday and he estimates 15 -20 hours at $150 an hour. He’ll only do 2 hour sessions every 3 weeks, so that makes it better for my budget and schedule.
