What do you mean? You are saying it’s a stupid idea to get an outline done and fill it in later? Either get the whole thing or not at all?

This is him. I chose him for his specialisation in blackwork.

My idea is to ultimately have a solid black rectangle on the forearm but I was thinking I could get the outline first and fill it in later but if this isn’t possible I will reconsider and just wait longer and probably get the whole thing done at once.
