I’ve heard of it before, and I think that if it’s working for you then go ahead ๐
My wardrobe frame that I painted last night looks really bad now that it’s dry!!
Hey, I don’t have any tattoo’s yet so I could be talking rubbish here ๐ But I think that if you want a tattoo, that will be with you for the rest of your life, then it’s worth investing as much time as you need to find the perfect artist for the job! I found google to be quite useful for me to find a studio, as I ended up finding a local alternative forum where many people with tattoo’s were discussing where they got their ink, it may also be worth going into studios and asking if they have any pictures of work they’ve done before, so you can see what kind of quality their work is at ๐
Ahh thanks for all the advice! ๐
Yeah, as much as I love the thought of a white tattoo, it just doesn’t seem worth the hassle! I’ll go for it on my thigh then, would it need to be bigger than a certain size, so that it doesn’t blur in the future? I’m not sure quite how big or small I would like it, but I’m getting quite excited anyway ๐ And thank you for the compliments on the design, I’ve known I’ve wanted a tattoo for ages, but nothing seemed to really stand out to me until I saw that quote, then I spent ages trying to find a good font… of course now I’m planning all sorts for more, so hopefully this one goes well!!
Ahh, from what I’ve read about the pain so far, it seems like it might be the kind of pain I like, or at least will be able to tolerate easily! haha, or I’m hoping that if I manage to convince myself of this that it’ll have some kind of placebo effect when it comes to getting it done ๐ I’ll be getting it at a local studio that doesn’t do appointments when I have the money, so hopefully soon, within the next few weeks! Do you think if I have something to eat before and have a rest afterwards that I’ll be ok to drive home, or would I be better asking someone to give me a lift? Maybe I’m over-reacting a little as it’s only a small tattoo but it will be my first!!
Just thought I’d second the bio-oil recommendation ๐ It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it for what it does!
Thanks for the replies everyone ๐
Yes from Slaughterhouse Five! Ahh, I’ve heard of white ink being possible, but not much good about it, though a very reputable tattoo studio near me does white tattoos, when I called them and asked about it they said they really wouldn’t recommend it, so I don’t think I’ll go for it, pink or something would be a great idea though thanks! ๐ I think I will go for thigh if I can’t get that, I would really like it on my wrist or down my arm, but if I can’t get it in white or something un-noticeable then I wouldn’t like to risk it when I’ve not completely decided on a career path yet!
Thanks for the heads up about UV and blacklight ink! I had considered them but not started my research on them yet so I’ll put that idea out my mind!!
Haha yes it probably is quite ironic however I’m sure the pain will be worth it! At least, I hope ๐
Hey, I’ve been looking up places to get a tattoo in Glasgow, I found a thread on another forum where there’s loads of recommendations and reviews depending on what you’re looking for, am I allowed to post a link to that on here? I’ve not had any tattoo’s done yet personally but I have heard very good things about Tribe, Bodyline and Custom Inc ๐
I’m not sure I understand, because the purpose of the o-ring is to stop the plug falling out, so whichever side that is, usually the back, the side that would go through your ear if it were to fall out ๐
I’m sorry I’m still learning about tattoos so I can’t tell you too much that’ll be helpful! But I just thought I’d say I really like your design and I think the colours go really well together! ๐
Wow that is amazing! ๐
