LOL. No, i took these saturday while i was in the chair.
my tattoo artist Jersey doing his thing:
just got off the phone with my tattoo artist, I am definitely going in tomorrow for my first session for the sugar skulls. I will post some pics after i get it done.
Love. Peace. Metallica.
that made me LOL. although i am not looking forward to getting my shin tattooed, i have a feeling that is going to hurt.
my favorite so far is the reaper i have on the back of my leg…it also turns out to be the sorest…most of the tattoo is red, and i happen to be allergic to red ink. 😮 it was swollen, and took a very long time to heal.
yea, I have been lucky as of late and have some disposable income at the monent, so i’m going to get as much ink as i can while i can. 😀

i went to the tattoo parlor today, but my artist had not finished the design. I saw the drawing of the skulls and they are sick. I will (hopefully) be going in on saturday to get the outline work done.
i figured i should update this. after a little over a month, the swelling went down, and the red is healing just fine. it still itches like a mofo, and i have had a few bumps on the red…but overall it is healing fine now.
i will as soon as i find the time.
normally though to bee honnest it can be your aftercare treatment, and remember that you should always wash your hands before touching the area, this even applies when washing it.
just dont put anything on it for a couple or so days and let us know how it is 😉
its been three weeks since the tattoo, and the soreness is just now going away. I discontinued the lotion for a couple days, and it didn’t help. the swelling seems to be going down in the past couple days. the black portions of it are pretty much healed…the red is still flaky and looks like it wants to peel again. I started applying lotion again since i ruled that out as being the cause of my reaction. I wash my hands every time i apply lotion and i try and wash it twice a day.
thanks for all the replys guys. 🙂
me too…i’m ready to get more work done! but I don’t want to get anymore done while its still swollen.
i actually had a thought, i think the reaction may be caused by the lotion i’m using (curel fragrance free). I stopped using it today, and it hasn’t seemed to be so swollen. i’m going to give it a day or two without the lotion, and going to call my tattoo artist in a bit and see what he reccomends.

no, i haven’t injured myself, if i had, then I would be in pain…same for a bug bite, i would imagine it would itch/hurt. i don’t feel any discomfort…its just swollen. i’m baffled.
