Thanks guys,
i have since spoken to my artist and he knows his shit pretty well, he has complete confidence that it should be fine. I just got another tattoo finished over the weekend and he used his good quality red ink in parts of it which seems to be doing fine, i am now happy that my tattoo on my forearm should be sweet to finish
thanks for the help
I love the idea of the fairies. I reckon a huge, old, rustic looking tree snaking down your arm with the moon and stars in the background and the fairies all over the place around the tree, on the branches and poking their heads out from behind the tree, just me though, good luck, Peace.
Sorry dude but atm it looks kinda weak, it’s lucky you posted this early on, i’m with duke, save ya pennies and wait till you can get some serious work done, don’t make money an issue good tattoos aren’t cheap and cheap tattos aren’t good, do a bit of shopping around for your artist and i mean artist, check his or her work out, a good tattooist will have an album full of pictures of his/her work in their shop, go through a few of those with a fine tooth comb and really look at the quality of his/her work then move on to another shop and do the same, have a chat to these guys and tell them some of your ideas and see what sort of response you get and view their adittude, a tattoosit who is inspired to do your work will do great work on your piece it’s just like your adittude towards something you might be working on if you enjoy it, it will turn out better than if you hate it. Personally i would go some flowers manly ones of course with some waves and maybe even a few words from a passage or a song that reminds you of her, what you have could easily be turned into something along those lines. Good luck bro, peace
Not too bad bro, love the sign, not a tat for me though. Personally i would have got it done in red green and yellow, although you could add those colours in the future, and maybe a big pic of bob marley, the man who truly represents peace and world wide love. As for the hippie comment, i thought that tats were meant to be an expression of who you are and where you are in your life so rep it up and don’t let it faze ya, Peace!
i hear what your saying and would totally agree, but this dude is as genuine as they come. i trust him a great deal, he’s a real artist with his head screwed on, not just a bikie with a tattoo gun. He generally doesn’t condone drinking and is the first to turn you away if your off your head on anything, but he is sympathetic to my situation and is only trying to help, he has only recommended a few beers not getting drunk in any way and only having these beers whilst the work is being done so as to not thin my blood too much. thanks for your concern as i can see that if i was in your shoes i would think the same thing
dude numbing creams don’t work, i work in a hospital and they put this shit on kids hands before getting injections and such and they don’t work at all. Valium is a good way to go for relaxing your mind and body before tattoos and it doesn’t make your blood too thin (a lot of people do it), food and drink is a good idea to get your blood sugar levels up if your a fainter. i find that watching my artist do his work helps with the pain as i can anticipate exactly where he is tattooing me and you can’t actually see the needles when the gun is working. i have a fair few tattoos on my arms and one big one on my chest (unfinshed to date), on my arms i used Bepanthen cream which new mums use on their cracked nipples and for nappy rash on the bub this worked pretty good, but on the latest chest tattoo i was recommended paw paw ointment and i have found it healed better and quicker (could be just my new artist though). all tattoos hurt but it’s not an unbearable pain and everyone is different i have found that areas on my body that should of hurt like fuck didn’t, so you’ll just have to go and get started to understand what we are all talking about, all in all it sounds like your worrying a bit too much,
hope this helps good luck with the work, go get addicted to the awsome world of tattoo bro, peace
bro i’m chasing a good sparrow tattoo and would love to look at your gallery when you get it up and running, would be great if you could put the address up at that time.
yea the tattoo has to cover the nipple its the tigers eye and half of it has already been done, and i have the out line around my nipple. i considered moving the tattoo around before i got it started but my artist and i decided it would look like shit with a dirty big nipple in the middle of the tat with an eye beside it, so i opted for the pain, would be great if i could get some tips on pain relief??? my artist has suggested Panadein forte and a sixer of beer which i’ll get into as he starts the tattoo.
