Yup, Mushrooms are a big part of my diet. Unfortunately, where I live, these particulars are rare (morels don’t even exist) due to the climate, I used to love them when I was in the Carolinas…@Call_me_Lola 142153 wrote:
I HATE mushrooms. Blecht. The smell. The taste. Mostly the texture.
But that is a pretty sweet addition to your food…

They look great mate, why the vegetables?
Thanks. I am a chef. I have worked with food all of my life and am passionate about crop and seafood sustainability and supporting local farmers to maintain the ingredients (seeds and heirloom vegetables) that might not be around in the future.

Man your getting me hungry! The bicep area is a cover-up of a 20+ year old Celtic armband that had dark lines and heavy shading, We are using the leaves of the radish and the rainbow chard to cover it, no small task. Can’t wait for the Steak and Cleaver to be done……….

Thanks, man. Funny, I just started incorporating Kohlrabi in my diet about a month ago, with quinoa, and apples or pears as a side. I love the purple with the veins running through the leaf or the whole plant with its strange clusters, but rainbow chard got the nod due to the different colors. I have started to get heavy on the greens and purples,…[Read more]

Wash as often as you can with cool water and fragrance free soap, baby wash works well. Use a saturated paper towel with that soap mix to lightly wipe any loose…[Read more]

Are the pics from when it was fresh, or more recent? (The tucked up sleeve and brighter colour in the first pic makes me think it was taken when fresh.)
