I have almost decided to give my artist complete control to do something beautiful and delicate there. Good or bad idea?
I would say good. Especially since it is an artist you have used before and trust his judgement in advance.
Me and a cousin have a matching tat, on opposite legs. It’s the super shitty tribal dragon on my leg. Matching more because my other cousin that started tattooing didn’t have many stencils than any want to get matching tattoos.
Found that on google. Some pretty good ones and some pretty crappy ones. Might give you some ideas at any rate.
Don’t get it somewhere that you can’t cover it with a Tshirt. DO NOT get it on your neck. You can get some ink there later if you really want it and it won’t affect your life, job choices, etc. I would say upper arm, chest, ribs, maybe on a leg.
How big are you wanting it? I don’t think something like that would look good as a really small tattoo.
The absolute best thing you can do is find the best artist in your area. It’s going to be there forever don’t settle for a shit artist. I did that to begin with because I didn’t know any better and now I have ink that I am going to eventually have to have lasered off and covered. That’s going to end up costing A LOT more than what it should have if I had just went to a great artist to begin with. I have a couple of articles in the blog in my sig line that I wrote on the subject if you want to check it out.
My grandfather smoked a pipe. I still have one of his.
I have never tried a pipe, I have generally found I just do not enjoy tobacco.

Ah see, my fiance is an avid gun nut so as long as I’m with him I don’t think I’ll have any problem. Only shot 5 rounds out of a Glock 19 model .9mm but I’d like to get into it a little bit more
Hey cool! I think the Glock 19 is one of the most versatile handguns ever made. Guns can be a lot of fun, just remember the two safety rules: keep your booger hook off the bang switch unless you want to shoot, and don’t do stupid shit with your muzzle. Technically there are more but they are pretty much extensions of those two.

I had a rather high powered air rifle. 1000′ per second / Crossman / with the pointed pellets it would shoot through plywood. I was defending our crop of English walnuts that were being decimated by squirrels. I was double checking the safety when I pulled the trigger which was the same time my son walked out the back door. The pellet hit him in the side at an angle that did not go deep, but it went along for five inches. The pellet is still inside him.
Went to the emergency room, police were involved, a real fun evening.
Wow, that sucks! Glad he wasn’t seriously hurt, some of those air rifles are pretty impressive. A lot different than the crappy old red ryders. Mistakes can happen to anybody, don’t beat yourself up too hard. I bet it won’t happen again!
Wow, thanks for the tips Sherav! I’ll take some time later and really go through all that info.
Quick update:
I have been posting articles, but most of them have been gun related so I haven’t been updating this thread. If anybody else on here is into guns, feel free to check it out!
Looks good from what I can see. I would love to see a better shot of the face when you get the saniderm off.
