That is a nice set you have going on there. Are you going black n shade or full colour?
Which artist was it?
Take Care
Matthew
I am thinking I will just do black and grey on this one. I don’t know why, I just like those colors on this piece.
Personally I never get bored of looking at Japanese art or koi tattoos.
Also I am damn jealous of that look you ahev that would freeze muggers in their steps – could do with that for my job ๐
Some damn fine ink you have there.
Matthew
Thanks Mathew. I really appreciate the compliment.
I think I am a pretty nice guy but when people meet me, after they have talked to me for a while, they usually say they thought I would be some tough guy. I don’t know, I don’t really try to come off that way lol.
I never get bored looking at them either. I first wanted a Koi sleeve when I was about 16 and waited 4 years to make sure I still wanted it. I’m very happy with it.
wearing with pride buddy ๐
where was it done ?
who is the artist?
how long did it take?
how many sittings?
i hate being nosey hahahaha
No worries. I could talk about my tattoos all day long.
where was it done ? Charlotte NC at a Place called Fu’s http://www.fustattoos.com/
who is the artist? Tom Michael http://www.fustattoos.com/tom_inprogress.html
how long did it take? I am 11 hours in on my Koi sleeve. 2 Hours in on my Geisha, and more to come ๐
how many sittings? 4 sittings for the Koi and just 1 for the Geisha
Here is my Geisha btw. It’s on my left forearm…
The most painful tattoo is the one you are getting at that moment ๐ Good luck.
Thank you.
From what I’ve seen myself though, Japanese/Horimono tattoos pretty much all have the same content. Samurai, Dragon, Koi, Cherry Blossoms, Lotus, snakes, etc… Individually, I appreciate the color and detail.
Although you are correct. It seems that Koi tattoos are starting to go the way of tribal and Kanji. However, I have always wanted one, and knew how popular it was going in to my first installment of it.
