You want the tribal, spiritual work that Jondix and Thomas Hooper are really progressing. Don’t do the exact one as stated above but let a tattooer add their flavor to it. As these are real intricate tattoos the quality of the tattooer really really matters! There’s Elm Street Tattoo in Dallas with Olive Pecker but don’t know if he is really doing…[Read more]

Find the tattooer who does tigers you like and let them work their magic. Seeing this reference I would say Tim Lehi if you can make your way to Blackheart tattoo in San Francisco. If you are thinking of a year away this could workout well as he is booked out for god knows how long. Make it a trip to the Bay Area!

So I can suggest some tattooers to google and hope they are close to you but can’t post links cause the boos woman put the smack down on me sending people to this new site/forum some are on to see. So try these names: Tim Lehi, Bob Roberts, Nick Colella, Chad Koeplinger, and many more. Do you want traditional or Japanese or chinese or ??

How horribly generic.
A butterfly…
A foot tattoo…
A name…
And a directly copied design…That’s 4 out of 10 “most seen” tattoos in one!
P.S.
Have a tattoo artist design your tattoo.
You know…they don’t just lick the back of a sticker, put it on you, and color it in…
They are fucking artists. And they can…[Read more] -

the feedback is really good and especially Cornishtiger’s. The tattooer makes or breaks the tattoo not so much the reference picture! I think this could be an awesome thigh piece in grey and black with colored eyes!! Just ones thoughts…..

Some take longer than others to heal so don’t be concerned, yet. Give it a few more weeks……..

You want the symbol as in Kanji? Be careful getting tattoos in languages you don’t speak…………. I love images of tigers (japanese or traditional) and there are some amazing tattooers really pushing some new panthers and tigers that look badass! Just one persons thoughts.

That would be a picture of the SF Bay Area I believe. The X will be around The Mission neighborhood. But I an not zoom in to see for sure. The shape and bridge to the north and east inform my idea……how is this relevant?

Welcome and would enjoy seeing pictures to the tattoos you’ve got. Where in NY are you thinking of getting tattooed? There’s lots of shops and range from terrible to beyond world class progressing tattooing on all levels. Do your research and if you have questions I am sure plenty here can give you good tattoo shop/tattooer leads…….

Joeybuckets, thanks for sharing that. It actually has stayed in and not blown out for fifteen years which is impressive considering how much tattooing has progressed. Your arm also shows that progression so thanks for being a customer for so long not just in it for the fad. Have you ever seen Freddy Corbin, Bob Robert’s, Thomas Hooper, Jondix or…[Read more]

The size and placement are just personal preference. I’m not sure I would get them *quite* as small as the ones in the picture on the wrist, just as long as they’re small enough. I’m in NY, just outside NYC… I’ll ask around at shops to see how small I can go. Thanks for all your help everyone.Cool, you are in a…[Read more]

Just do black, grey and maybe one other color but more black and grey so the one other color pops. Here’s a some threads on Tattoo Coverups just for thoughts. If I am reading this right this is your third coverup in the same spot right? You may want to laser some first to remove previous tattoos a little so the third one is one you truly love. People get tattoos for many reasons and I don’t think one is better than another. The most important thing in my opinion is invest in a good tattoo from a good tattooer as it is for life. Don’t just let some hack go at it as there are too many super talented tattooers these days. As long as you can look at your own tattoo and be stoked on it that…[Read more]

Thanks for posting. It’ll be good to see it completed as the scales will hopefully make the “flow” of the dragon more apparent as right now I am having a hard time with it. Was this piece taken from a different design that had petals and/or smoke/clouds as Serav suggested? Thanks again.
