I judge my tattooers by their work and space not some certification. With that being said I don’t think I have ever noticed any of my tattooers with their “certification” visable…I guess I will now look out of curiosity. Things that make you go hmmmmm?

Thanks for sharing that belly piece. Fun sitting huh? haha. As for the Japanese piece……get what you want as many above have said. Do you know who you are going to go to for it? If you are going to get it make sure you goto someone realy familiar with Japanese art as the difference will be seen.

The best bet is going to a good tattoo shop and tattooer as they can draw it to the curves of your body plus thats their job. I am not a fan of online tattoo designs as many are not drawn by tattooers and so they rarely translate over to the body. Where are you at? Maybe we can suggest some good tattooers and shops. piercedCHIC and starvega thanks for clarifying. If you want US I would suggest Freddy Corbin for something similar or Tim Hendricks, Luke Wessman or ???? Where in the US are you at?

Maybe have the tattooer you are thinking of going to draw the design? They will be able to draw it best to your body and experience…plus they may have better ideas.

The link to the picture is a doable tattoo if you goto an good tattooer but remember to let them see the image and draw up their version. Maybe point out one or two things in the picture that you definately want in your tattoo. Where are you located? Do you want a backpiece or painting? Some of the elite tattooers sometimes color in the stencils of their backpieces and give them to the customers when the tattoo is complete but this is not a given.

looks good but work with/check the bridge of the nose for next one(s).

if you’re not going to a Tim Hendricks or one of the elite tattoo artist that sometimes set up shop in random spots when traveling I would suggest not to do it.
