with regards to decent artists I wouldn’t limit yourself to one specific area if you can. for example I’m having my sleeve done in Camden Town, London yet I travel there from either Saffron Walden or Milton Keynes. The tattoo will vary massively dependant on the artist.

i had a similar thing happen to mine. i kept moisturising it and its all gone now. no idea whether it was the ink (i’ve had 3 sittings before this occured) or whether I was bitten by something whilst out in thailand. either way though it looked like what you have.
how long have you had this rash/bump?

can anyone whose had there’s pierced in the London area recommend any decent places to get it done?

there was an episode of their’s on sky anytime today…anyhow i thought i’d watch it….and I must say I wasn’t too impressed with what I saw….granted the work was quite good but then again i’ve seen pieces I like everywhere. what really annoyed me was their attitute…quite up yourself and not at all customer focused.

bepanthen for me for 5 days or so, then onto an unscented mositurising lotion (currently vaseline intensive care stuff)…does the job fine for me 🙂

i love and hate being inked! its definately addictive but i just grin and bear it always thinking of the end result!

i’ve just come back from Thailand and whilst I was out there used (when I did remember to) factor 50 Nivea stuff. Did the job however as to its ‘water proof/resistant’ statement I’m not to sure. best off after just drying up and applying again.

mine is still in the progress of being finished. so far there’s been 7 1/2 hours and its taken up until now 4 months. next sitting is not till (fingers crossed) next month but as to when it will be finished/how long it will take/how much it will cost….only time will tell!

thought i was worrying a bit too much! lol. anyhow thanks for clearing it up…and for the info for future reference. 🙂

i’ve had 2 sittings on my sleeve so far.
1st was 3 hrs, 2nd was 2.5 hrs and the 3rd one was 2. i’m in the british army and spent my first tour of iraq in Basra on the COB and a couple of weeks ago had to deploy on a short op for a week to Baghdad (although we popped over to Basra as well).
