Hey, I’ve just had a portrait of my daughter done by Mark Bailey at the Golden Dragon in Chester. Have a look in my album I think there is a pic there.

Thanks. I’m so happy with it, I was worried about the colour but so glad now that I went with it. Took just over 3 hours. Its placed sort of on my lower shoulder and upper back.

I’d already decided this was the guy who I wanted to do the tattoo for me, cost didnt come into that. It was just a nice surprise when we talked money afterward.
I’ve seen some awesome colour portraits. But I’ve seen some shitty ones too. Although, the same can be said for black and grey!
He’s the guy who to a certain degree knows best and I need to trust his judgement. He tells me it will look awesome in colour and I do believe him. I think I’m just hesitant because I went in with something slightly different in mind!
I love your idea and if you like your idea then thats all that matters, dont worry what anyone else thinks.
Find a good artist and they’ll have no problems bringing your vision to life.

Normally I dont care what people opinions of my tattoos are or of tattoos in general. What wound me up more was the ‘alternative’ bit. We must all be so crazy cool! 😉
