Thanks everyone.

Oddly enough I went with my now bf (who has NO piercings/tattoos HAHA) to get this piece and explained to him why I wanted it and he loved the idea.

Mark at American Classics Tattoo in Athen, Ga totally made this one his own. I gave him the lyrics and he added his own touch. He loves owls as much as I do and I think my next one will be an owl on my foot. I have seen his personal sketches of owls and I know he will do my tattoo with pleasure haha.

As for pain, there were spots were I though I was going to break my teeth I was clinching down so bad but then others just felt like a hot sensation. I would def. do it again. 🙂 It only took 1.5 hours (with a 15 min break btw outline and shading).

Yeah, I def. caught the bug. I am excited that I got back taxes from the Government. This tattoo came from tax refund money…hooray USA… 😮

Yep, its meaning is I am THROUGH with bum guys holding me down in relationships..this time I’m pulling through myself.

Not as tattooed as I would like to be due to my money situation. haha

I reallllllly want a chest piece but I know that would be WAY too many words. I think I may get it done on my rib cage by my boob. I have one tattoo on my foot and I wouldnt be against getting it on my other foot, I just kinda want it somewhere else, plus it would have to be semi small to fit on my foot and I dont want it to be itty bitty…hmm..

Thanks for all the responses, once I get my taxes back, part of it will go to the “tattoo Erika fund” 🙂

Yeah, I need to get a new ring. I was a uniballer for a while and just decided to take them off because a ring is like $15 and I need food before a new ring haha.

I agree. When I am not at work, I could care less who sees my tattoo/piercings.
The jobs I have had had uniforms that were polo shirts anyway so I could have hid it if need be AT WORK. haha

Once I get money, I do believe it will be on my chest 🙂

Yeah, that is one of the main factors that made me go get this piercing. The jobs I had didn’t like piercings s I flipped it and they never knew. 🙂

It is still in theaters here in Georgia (USA).
Seeing it in IMAX/3D I am sure made it better.

When I got mine they told me to leave the wrap on for 2-3 hrs and then wash it with semi-luke warm water and antibacterial soap, pat dry and then rub B & W ointment and let it air out. It look my foot about 2 weeks to stop hurting and then about a month to start peeling. It has been a little over a month and it is all the way done healing. 🙂

Yeah, I was thinking to place it right under my collar bones to right above my boobs.
Here is a pic of the placement i want, not the actual tattoo.

There is a pic of it on the pic thread and on my little album thing on my profile. It covers most of the top of my foot. Its about 5-6 inches long and at the widest about 3 inches. The end of the feather hits on my ankle bone and that was the worst part.

Anywho, thanks for the pain scale. I do not have a design yet, I just started to reaaaaallly want it last night.

I noticed no one answered so I will try to help a little.
I at least know what it takes to stretch the ears and sizes and all that stuff.
I have mine to a 2g ONLY because my ears refuse to go any lower.

My ex-bf had 5/8″ and he had them stretched for a few years and when he let the grow up, they did not grow back to normal size. He could still stick a 0g in there, no problem.

I know he let them shrink because he got a job at GEICO and at the time he thought they didn’t allow gauged ears..oddly enough they do.

They do make flesh colored plugs for people who want to strech and not have anyone really notice.
