Apes, I never said that a cling wrapped tattoo would not heal and turn out fine, the risk is in infection. I did copy this from the INET but the first time I read it, it was in Inked Magazine.
Everyone else out there should take note that ANY artist out there will not have any type of medical training (other than maybe Blood Born Pathogen class)…[Read more] -

What is the deal with the UK artists and thier “clingfilm”? Do you not realize that clingfilm used to cover fresh tattoos is a bad idea. When you use it, it keeps the wound from getting air and breeds bacteria. I believe that the only time your tat should be covered is on the drive home and then it should be covered with a form of bandage. The…[Read more]

I agree with Infamous, his tats are Polynesian. A good reference for this style is: http://www.tahititatou.com/. Here you can find some meanings of things, because most of the design has meaning. These tats usually tell a story of ones life and you want to be careful when chosing a design that fits you. I always liked how the artists can…[Read more]

I have a Koi on my arm and I can tell you it is a very common tattoo. As with any tattoo, you can find many meanings for Koi, mine is a tat I got after the birth of my…[Read more]

The heavy color is because of the cover job. Decent job by the artist, covering is never easy. Bro, a flower on your throat? Did you consider having it removed? Seems they could have at least lightened with laser before covering. JMO

Sounds to me like your looking for some validation. If you plan on losing weight, I would avoid inking any area that may sag or droop (breast, stomach, chin, ect) it happens. If you plan to maintain your current, realistic form the only advice I would give is to avoid fold areas. Nuff said!

If I were you I would RUN not walk to find a new artist ( and I use the term Artist lightly). The lines, transitions, and color are all off. Just because a guy has his own Tattoo Machine does not make him an artist. It looks to me that this tat can still be saved, but you need to find a professional. Tribal Tats (not my fav) should flow smooth…[Read more]
