A fresh tat will ooze blood and plasma for a couple days, its normal and not at all a bad thing. I don’t think it will hurt the tat at all. My suggestion is go and have a few, get your drink on, but don’t get FUBAR.

I usually go out for a couple after getting a tat. Alcohol will thin your blood and your ink may leak a bit more than it would otherwise. Just remember to keep it clean and you shouldn’t have any problems. The biggest risk is that you may get sooooo shitfaced you fall down and mess up that fresh ink.

I think that will make a good tattoo. Your artist may want to have some freedom in working the design, but it is not overly detailed. If your going Black/Grey Shaded, you could probably add more detail.

If its going on his back then you should try to make it realistic. Would see parts of spine and ribs with some torn muscle. Try to aviod adding too much blood, that always ruins a tat for me with dripping blood and stuff like that.
The arm should be actual size and take up most of the tear, it will look stupid if you do a scaled down version of the arm.

That looks really good and fits your tight little body perfect. The flowers could be shaded a bit more and I feel like it needs a background, but how do you plan to add lyrics? Like circleing around or scattered about? I also think it needs another element, maybe a bird or something.
